Residential Services
Rising temperatures and moist conditions in early spring lead to an emergence of a wide variety of crawling and winged insects (cockroach, bugs, ants, mice, rodents, termite and spiders.)
Some of these insects have over-wintered on the house and are beginning to emerge, while others invade the structure due to their foraging and nesting behaviour.
This service is typically rendered to the majority of our customers anywhere from late February depending on weather patterns and the target insect(s).
It should be noted that while the materials used are of the highest quality available, they do have a limited residual life and eventually break down due to time and weathering. It is for this reason that we strongly recommend a regular interval service so that you may enjoy pest-free living on an annual basis.
Commercial Services
We at United Pest Management know that no two businesses are alike. Therefore we offer a variety of commercial services and tailor those services to meet the need of each individual company. We offer timely and affordable services to control mice, termite, cockroach, flies, ants, common crawling insects and other occasional or seasonal pests.

Preconstruction Anti Termite Treatment
At United Pest Management our Preconstruction Anti Termite Treatment comes with a complete solution. This treatment for new construction typically takes at least two applications, depending on the type of structure.
First Application
Concrete slab structures must be treated before the concrete is poured and before the plastic and wire are put in place. Crawlspace structures can be treated once the foundation is complete. Treatment is done next to the foundation inside and out, and around the support piers.
Second Application
The second phase of any pre-treatment is when the backfill is completed around the outside of the structure and before any attached concrete slabs are poured. This ensures there is a consistently treated zone around the outside of the structure.
Assist in the control of Termites by the installation of a chemical barrier around the structure, or critical structural wood. Since it is impossible to build structures that termites cannot damage, a thorough preconstruction treatment can be applied. Some preconstruction treatments utilize conventional liquid termiticides.

Termite Elimination Methods: After performing an on-site inspection of the home or structure, we will determine the best method in which to eliminate the termite infestation.
Bed Bugs
If you have seen evidence of bed bugs or want to help protect your home against this multiplying intruder, our service representative will come and inspect your home. Bed bugs are sneaky and hard to find, but our representative is trained to pinpoint evidence if they are around. On the first visit, he will examine your entire home including the bed, furniture, rugs, and linens. He will conduct an inspection of target areas, and if required, use tools to check cracks and crevices. He will usually start in the bedroom and work his way through your home, concentrating on the furniture and the areas immediately surrounding the furniture.
Mosquito Control
Pesticides have a role in public health as part of sustainable integrated mosquito management. Other components of such management include surveillance, source reduction or prevention, biological control, repellents and pesticide-resistance management. We assess the future use of mosquito control pesticides in view of niche markets, incentives for new product development, Environmental Protection Agency registration, the Food Quality Protection Act, and improved pest management strategies for mosquito control.
