His establishment at Mahatma Gandhi Road, formerly known as Harrison Road, Kolkata, marked a significant milestone.

Upon Mohendra’s passing in 1909, his wife Radharani Devi took charge of the business until their son, Bhawani Charan Dutt, assumed leadership.

Bhawani Charan Dutt revolutionized the enterprise by importing cutting-edge machinery and raw materials, ensuring uncompromising quality and standards. Under his guidance, the business expanded its production capacity and reached new geographical markets.

During Bhawani Charan Dutt’s tenure, his son Ashutosh Dutt, Mohendra Dutt’s grandson, joined the family business. At the young age of 28, Kalinath Dutt, Mohendra Dutt’s great-grandson, assumed leadership following his father’s untimely demise. Despite the challenging circumstances, Kalinath proved to be a keen learner and astute leader, steering the business towards new horizons. Under his guidance, the company diversified its product range to include rainwear, rubber products, travel backpacks, and various travel accessories. Kalinath’s dynamic leadership, coupled with his networking prowess, propelled the business to new heights of growth and brand recognition.

Today, Kalinath, along with his son Subhashis Dutt, the fifth generation, leads the organization with a commitment to preserving its century-old legacy of quality.
